My First Ball Jointed Doll, Works In Progress Part I

I am very excited to show you the progress on my first Ball Jointed Doll.  I've already had some trials and errors, but these are the pieces that I'm finally happy with.

My wonderful and talented friend Kaerie Faerie is helping me along the way on this project.  She makes the most wonderful clay and porcelain ball jointed dollies.  You can visit her blog here!

Now for the Works In Progress photos.  This is what I've done so far...

Her name is Molley and since she is my first Ball Jointed Dollie, I will be keeping her.  I can't wait to play with her when she's done.

If I'm successful at making Ball Jointed Dollies, I will try to make some in the future for my etsy shop.  I know that I have a lot to learn and probably a few BJ Dollies that I will have to create in order to get it right.  So until next time...

A Queen Anne Style Dollie...

 She is fully poseable and measures 13 inches from the top of her lace crown to her little blue shoes.  I will be making her a Doll Stand, so she may be displayed standing.

She is now available for adoption in my Etsy Shop.
