New Witchy Birdling Dollies...

Hello!

I know it's been a while since I've posted here.  I've been so busy, plus some health problems that got in the way of my creativity... I never got around to thanking those of you who left me your beautiful comments on my last post.  Thank you with all my heart, as I appreciate them so very much!

I've just added the following dollies to my Etsy Shop.

With my love of birds, if you notice my blog header...you will see this little bird boy that lives with me, I made him years ago and is my favorite of all my dollies.  As I was admiring him on my sculpting table, I began to make little witchy birdlings to add too my shopling.

I hope you will enjoy them and although some might seem a little creepy, I promise they will bring you no harm.  They are sweet little darlings!

Thank you so much to those who responded to my last email.  I am so grateful to all who left a comment.  I did try everything and nothing worked, in the end I had a computer virus and had to get it fixed and now I can return back to blogging! :o)

Dollie Giveaway for Your Help!

I want so badly to continue blogging but for some reason I can't upload any photos.

As soon as I click on the link to add photos, not matter if it's from my computer or anywhere else, I get this dot that appears and changes from red, blue, green and yellow and it will not allow me to upload the photos.  I've tried other web browsers but nothing is working.


Can someone help me with this!  I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart, as I have spent days and hours trying to fix it.  If someone can help me, there will be a little dollie giveaway for your help.

New Available Dollies and Painting!

After so many long hours, I finally finished the new dollies.  The only one that isn't complete is the cloth and clay dollie. I fell in love with her and have decided to keep her for myself.  I will show pictures of her after the New Year when she's complete and will be making some more for my shopling.

Mysteries of the Unexplained...

My First Ball Jointed Doll, Works In Progress Part I

I am very excited to show you the progress on my first Ball Jointed Doll.  I've already had some trials and errors, but these are the pieces that I'm finally happy with.

My wonderful and talented friend Kaerie Faerie is helping me along the way on this project.  She makes the most wonderful clay and porcelain ball jointed dollies.  You can visit her blog here!

Now for the Works In Progress photos.  This is what I've done so far...

Her name is Molley and since she is my first Ball Jointed Dollie, I will be keeping her.  I can't wait to play with her when she's done.

If I'm successful at making Ball Jointed Dollies, I will try to make some in the future for my etsy shop.  I know that I have a lot to learn and probably a few BJ Dollies that I will have to create in order to get it right.  So until next time...

A Victorian Ghost Ballerina Art Doll...

Please meet Anna...

Anna was named after the famous Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova who danced in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. "She was widely regarded as one of the finest classical ballet dancers in history and was most noted as a principal artist of the Imperial Russian Ballet and the Ballets Russes of Sergei Diaghilev. Pavlova was most recognized for the creation of the role The Dying Swan and, with her own company, became the first ballerina to tour ballet around the world".

My interpretation of Anna is that she is her long lost ghost, who will always be remembered as one of the finest classical ballet dancers in the history.
